El Salvador has a large percentage of the population that is under-nourished. The largest portion are children. Thus we provide feeding programs to improve the diet of these malnourished young people. Our feeding programs are spread out around El Salvador touching children with the message of Jesus. We provide meat, beans, rice, tortillas and a cold drink to those in need. We not only meet their physical needs but spiritual as well. Our programs are ran by Assembly of God Pastors who are committed to raising strong spirit filled children who someday will be carrying the torch for this nation. With the cooperation of our doctor, we are able to determine those in need and thus, we concentrate our efforts only on those of greatest need.
Various older adults are also deficient in basic nutrients and become grossly under-nourished. Our feeding programs through the Yolanda ministry provide rice, beans and other food supplements to these people.
Another one of our ministries reaching the down and disheartened is Fara de Luz Ministerio or Light House Ministry this program reaches out to the countless homeless of San Salvador. Coffee and sandwiches are brought to the streets early every Friday morning to invite them to service at the Dream Center on Sunday. Every Sunday there is a special discipleship class for them, a message from the Word of God and a hot meal is served. We believe what it says in Romans 2: 4 that God’s kindness leads us toward repentance.
Since general health among the poor of El Salvador is below acceptable standards, our Medical Clinics often sees babies that are significantly under-nourished because their mother lacks the capacity to provide reasonable nourishment. Thus, our Medical Clinics provide dry milk to the mothers of these children. With the participation of our doctor, we determine those babies that are under-nourished and provide milk to those children, until such time as they attain to normal standards of health. These programs are held once each month.

I am interested in serving again for about a week long trip. I am in contact with one of the Nationals of Kings Castle and we have been working with her to organize a trip. If you could please contact me on how I can serve and what I need to do, it would be greatly appreciated.
